When Petef and Rel appeared on my screen both were similarly promising; i may have chosen the wrong girl, Primary Petroleum.

    Dear Gumshoe,
Regarding your position in Manas, please note the reference to it here, if you were not aware:

Jack, Just add some Rel when you can. Both look very promising depending on how O & G look in the one to five years down the road. They are only going up. Buy in the dips.

Here is Reliable’s explanation on the tier descriptions of wells:

Tier 1 are locations we would drill immediately and have a high confidence of success.
Tier 2 locations offset our tier 1 locations. With success on our tier 1 locations we would start drilling tier 2 locations.
Tier 3 locations offset our tier 2.

The tier 2 and 3 are locations have been classified as such because we do not have as much well control and seismic data available therefore there is slightly higher risk.

This was the response I received from their VP CFO (I didn’t know CFOs came in VP packages. 🙂 ).

    Hi Travis
I am a little new to the site and am still trying to navigate and find where to post comments. Hopefully I am on the correwct place now? I emailed you earlier with a question about Ian Wyatts teaser about an ETF master fund that would save our portfolios from the US debt situation. I believe it was a South American Portfolio consisting of three ETF’s in the resource fields. Have you checked that out yet? I think it is a pretty new add. I would love to see what he is touting here. Thanks. I love the site and all the info.

  6. Reliable is growing into decent profitability off their production in Kirkella and elsewhere in Canada, but a recently updated version of the teaser ad tells me that this one is one of those “almost” picks that the Thinkolator got wrong … I think, instead, that Schaefer was (and is) probably teasing DeeThree Exploration (DTX in Canada, DTHRF on the pinks). Still not a great fit for the original tease, but given the update and the new focus away from the Montana aspect I suspect DeeThree is the pick from Schaefer.

I still own Reliable Energy and personally prefer it, by the way, and like the “maybe someday” prospect of Montana combined with their nicely producing and profitable assets on the Canadian side of the border in their Kirkella area where they still have lots of potential growth, but I don’t think, now, that Schaefer was pushing Reliable. For what it’s worth, the two stocks have “enjoyed” similar (bad) performance over the last six months.
