Re. Options Trading Pit
Hi – I don’t have a rating yet. Have been a member for only 1 month. Too early to say.
But – there has been no trade on Arena Pharma. I saw the add too and was waiting for one to appear. So far the shares have dropped, as u pointed out, but no option trades to take advantage of it?????
I really like the Options Trading Pit. He targets special situations and his ideas make sense. More importantly, they usually make money! The only thing I’m not keen on is the price which I think is about $799/yr. Overall, this is probably my favorite newsletter. I give it 5 stars.
More hits than misses with Ian Cooper. However, I think it is overpriced considering the amount of picks he issues.
First trade paid for my subscription! Then there was Dendreon, that paid for like 1,000 subscriptions… 300% gain in like a week. There are some losers in there, but the winners far outweigh them. If you know options, this is the letter to get.
I intially signed up for 3 months service starting May 1 and had nothing but a string of losers. I also found it next to impossible to buy or sell at the recommended prices. I was very unhappy with the newsletter and cancelled futher service.
Not just a string a losers, had non-stop losers. I mean the kind where the options were expiring worthless for a 100% loss. He got his subs very short and very early, only to get killed by the runup from mid to late 2009.
Stay away, very, very far away. You can spend you money much better elsewhere.
It cost $799 to join. I started with $5,000 next egg on 4/23/09. I lost $1071 on the very first recommended trade. By 10/20/09 I had $56 left. If you can afford to loose $5,744 in 6 months, give it a shot. Hopefully you will be luckier than I was.
BTW, Ian tends to be bearish. If the market is going down, you will probably do well. There was very little downside when I had my money in it.
Yep, definitely stay away from Ian’s stuff. I mean, why would you want to be in an options service that’s 30 for 33 since July 2010, and his Pure Asset Trader service that’s 79 for 82 since February 2009. Yea, stay away. yes, he’s had losers, but who doesn’t? I’m not ian, i’m not affiliate with ian, i’m just a happy, and very rich, subscriber thanks to him.
Did the 30 day trial. A few small winners. More big losers.
Don’t waste your money, if you want to learn to trade or get picks (AKA suggestions) There are plenty of actual free or paid online training. It is extremely hard to get your money back, they are full of excuses. Buyer Beware!
