The Van Buren Report
This is a basic stock investing newsletter which appears to run monthly. They pick several stocks monthly in different categories such as Stock Pick of the Month, ETF of the Month, Dividend Stock of the Month, Growth Pick of the Month, you get the picture.
The information is really basic and is limited to a page per pick. It seems like a publication intended for beginners, however, their picks are pretty varied and looking back at past issues their results seem to be really impressive.
I like the format and enjoy there selections, some of which I have never heard of before. I have bought two of their recommendations and have done well with both picks. One netted me 8.5% after a month and the other I still own is up almost 25% since I bought it almost 8 weeks ago. Not bad, and not bad considering the market has been down lately.
Bonus, I got a free year subscription just by e-mailing their customer service and saying I wanted to try their newsletter out for more than a month. I thought that was pretty cool. I guess they are kind of new but so far I really like their newsletter.
