    Travis-
Just a note to tell you how I enjoy the Gumshoe. The financial websites are so full of con men, it’s enough to make one a cynic. You are a breath of fresh air. Keep up the good work.

As much time as you spend on the Gumshoe, I have often wondered what it is that you do for a living? Feel free to disregard the question if it seems too personal.

    Regards
    Robert-

    Travis,
I would like to take the time to thank you for what you do. You have reinvigorated my faith in my fellow man. I started investing in 2001 with a full service broker and realized I was making better suggestions than he was when 5 years later i started to be my own trader, a swing trader with some degree of success. Until…I started to rely naively on some of these gurus and newsletters. The newsletters were expensive, the recos were mostly hype and my account imploded with ooptions or rather options. I have now regained my center and rely on my due diligence and yours. You have saved me thousands just by not renewing the newsletters alone. I am now a full time self directed trader trying to build up my account but I love trading. I enjoy your insight , i will soon become a lifetime irregular, but how do you find what the lead stories for newsletters? Dont’t tell me because I enjoy your reading your spin and it helps me keep a level head, if you can say that about an options trader. God bless and keep doing what you are doing. I am humbly appreciative. –Jim
