Travis, I took a small position in Sprott back when you first presented it and got in at about 2.98. Thank you! Do you have suggestions for online links for keeping track of One Earth Farms and other SRC companies? Is there any news about this years harvest season? Will they continue to expand planted acreage each year as was the plan last year? 50,000 acres this year? Thanks, Robert.
Kind of surprising — at least to me — how little NEP fell after they resumed trading, and how quickly the stock recovered to now more than they closed at when the halt began. The new price is reasonable if you trust the numbers, but I am a little surprised that there wasn’t a big selloff on mistrust, maybe folks like the new filings more than I expected they would.
I continue to hold the NEP options that I had, just FYI, and I hope investors are right that the management shakeup and the new numbers are to be trusted. Those who don’t want to take the chance can, at least, finally sell if they want to.
If anyone wants to comment or attempt to explain the price action on NEP the last few days I would love to hear it. I bought around 3.80 and watch it get hammered down to 3, then sold the next day around 4.25 (I had to get off the roller coaster.. I had zero idea why it was swinging so violently). I still think they are a buy long term if you can believe there corrected accounting (they didn’t get de-listed, so that has to be a positive). Hopefully Travis finds the time to revisit this crazy story.
Have a great weekend everyone.
