And if you want an idea of how illiquid and hard-to-value this stock is, today with the attempted coup (sounded a bit half-hearted, actually) in Kinshasha the stock traded at both 95 cents and 67 cents, up 15% for a while, then down 10%, mostly because there’s pretty much no volume at all. I think of this as a tiny speculation that I’ll just let sit for a long time and see if the big land position turns into promise and the DRC becomes our next breadbasket, or the country falls apart and the Canadian interlopers get their heads handed to ’em.
Since I bought a small position ages ago I lost almost 90% of its value ….but then suddenly the other day I gained back 15 % so..whooooo hooo look at me! I am only down 75% ! Thank god I made a killing on Africa Oil so I can afford the charity investment Feronia has become. Sad that oil make ya oddles of money and food production …makes ya poor
