Travis, I missed the big run-up with sandstorm gold waiting for a entry point back down under $1.10 but as you know it has been on fire. Do you think it’s still a buy @ $1.60? Thanks Jennifer

Terrex is my second largest holding. It went to 30 cents after the Sandstorm deal was announced and the property acquisition closed, but now is back to the teens. Looks like a nice punt at that price.

Finally got a way to share the excel file of the spreadsheet with you, so you can toy with pricing and production numbers if you like. You can go to this link:

    https://docs.google.com/leaf?id=0B4BJuf2w_rQPYzMyNzU2N2QtNThiNS00MjQ4LTg1MDMtYmNmODY1MjA0Mzg0&hl=en_US

But Google Docs cannot read the formulas, so just click the “download” link at the top to download the Excel file, which should work in Excel or Numbers.

To stretch the topic here a little, (i.e., gold) I’m wondering, Travis, if you’ve looked at Pretium Resources (TSX:PVG) (“Pretivm”).
They are a new company that was started up by Robert Quartermain. (He took Silver Standard Resources from a market cap of $2 million to ~ $2 billion in his time there.
There July drilling results include some totally crazy numbers.

Here’s a link to their recent press release:

I’d be interested in what you or others think.

Disclosure: I do own several hundred shares.

Isn’t Terrex the company that SILU cut a loan for? It seems that they must see some value in the company. I haven’t looked at the stock, I wonder if Travis has??? 🙂

  6. john connor says:

I must have my Terrex’s mixed up. I emailed Terrex Energy Inc and they were not the company that got a loan from SILU (Sprott lending). I emailed Sprott Lending so hopefully they can clear up some of my confusion.

By reading this article i think i own a similar type of stock, it’s AAB on TSE.If you could find some time to look at i am interested by your analysis compared to sandstorm.

This question has to do with New Flyer Industries traded in Toronto. You recommended them in the past for the strength of their company and also their high yield. I wondered what your current thought was about them. They are doing a complicated “offering” and I wondered if you could make sense of it and if you still own them at all. Thanks and I wanted you to know your input and research is invaluable. Keep up the great work!!!

    Travis,
any idea about the last advertisement of “energy expert Dr. Kent Moors” about firms around NG

    The $8.6 Trillion “Aftershock”
    That Will Rock the Markets
Congress is about to pass a law that would pay every American between
$7,500 and $64,000 to make a simple change in how they use energy.
Here’s how you can ride this energy super shift to outstanding gains in the next 13 months.
    Thanks for your invaluable research
