any thoughts on Cheniere energy partners LP (CQP), or Cheniere energy inc (LNG) ? they have an LNG installation on the Tx / La gulf coast. and plans for a huge expansion of their 800 acre site on the sabine river.
personally, i think you’re spot on in regards to the future of nat gas. the greenies are also right to be deeply concerned about the fracking chemical pollution of the local water table. gasfrac energy services seems to have a far superior method of fracturing the shale strata, using a gelatinized gas (propane, i think)
i understand that some legislation, beneficial to the nat gas industry, is coming up for a vote in the next congressional session. the concern now is that any subsidy included in the bill will get axed in the name of austerity.
