Unfortunately my brokerage accout doesn’t allow trading of otc stock. You’re still worth the $50 though Travis.

THIS IS JAN 09 2012 WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO COME OUT OF YOUR SLUMBER .
Hi Travis
Any updated thoughts on Benton Resources (BTC)? I got in at $0.106 a few months after the above piece, but they’ve since disappointed and are currently stuck at $0.06. Wondering if I should wait this one out for hopefully better results from Coro, or cut my losses.
Haven’t been following them closely since the junior miners crash, but looks like they’re still trading for substantially less than the value of their marketable securities. I’d have to look into them again to see what those marketable securities are, but (like many stocks in the sector) they look cheap on the books. It’s ridiculously tiny, market cap is only $6 million, which is why I put it out as an idea to check out if you wanted something speculative but didn’t analyze it thoroughly — at this size it really shouldn’t be public and I shouldn’t cover it for a larger group, but it does look cheap. Could be a good reason why its cheap, other than the general beat-down that the mining sector has experienced, but if so I don’t know what it is.
