Forget about FaceBook lets make some REAL money

By aati, March 1, 2012

I got this teaser from Motley Fool. I am thinking it’s Segway. Any thoughts or opinions on this…

There is a technology ”bigger than the Internet,” and it is changing absolutely everything. (It’s about to put 100 million Chinese factory workers out on the street.) But it’s not a flavor of the month like social media…

Dear Fellow Investor,
The Air Force already bought one. So did Rolls Royce, Black & Decker, and Chipotle. Jay Leno has one in his garage (but it’s not a car). And now that the sticker price has plummeted from $100,000 to $1,299, it won’t be long before everyone buys one.
Technology experts say this invention could be ”bigger than the internet.” The Economist has gone even further, comparing its potential impact to the steam engine and the printing press.
Too good to be true? The suits on Wall Street think so. Meanwhile, the guys who brought you the iPod and Amazon.com are true believers — and they’re getting ready for their next big score. You still have time to join them, if you act fast…
The opportunity to profit from a transformative technology like this comes along once in a lifetime. Business Insider says it’s ”the next trillion dollar industry.”

What are the 3 stocks? The email stated Dassault Systemes, but not the other 2 stocks.

I am not sure which stocks they are touting, but I bought 3D last fall, and am up about 80% already. I have since read that 3D is considered the somewhat inferior to others in the field, but I can live with some more “inferior”. I am curious to see what else they have to say, I got the teaser also.

I do not know what 3 companies this teaser touts, but they are 3-D Printing companies.

If you do a search “motley fool 3d companies’ you will find some articles. It seems 3D systems (DDD) is definitely one of the 3 companies they are touting

Well I only found #D systems and Stratasys to be the only public companies. The rest were private but looked like they could be on the verge of going public.

Wrote about this one today — yes, those are the two “secret” companies (not Organovo, which is way too small for the Foolies to pick them for their flagship letter, but DDD and SSYS):

Something may be up with ONVO of late as it has been surging. Haven’t had it long and sold 1/3 Friday near 52-week high at end of day, since I was up 100%. I think that is the kind of discipline the proprietor here follows. I’m plenty down now on some other picks that I could have sold for nice profits, like NQ and MCP. It seems the company themselves often put the kibosh on price rise with dilution or the shyster lawyers jump on board with lawsuits because some aggrieved parties are upset stock price fell. One has to wonder what the latest Greek vote will portend for the market.
