just found one blue chip 
if I’m right.
NASDAQ:CTEL
can you help me with your research on my assessment before I engage in buying this one they have hefty DIV.

I don’t think I’ve ever written about City Telecom — they’re one of two (I think) providers of landline and internet access in Hong Kong, and they do pay a large dividend. Unlike the similar “old line” telecoms in the US, like CenturyLink, they don’t have a lot of debt and they have very high profit margins, so that makes it worth a look. Don’t know what their long-term prospects are, since wired telecom is generally a declining industry globally and they’re in a competitive and geographically constrained market that would probably make growth difficult … and they’re very small, but they can afford the dividend at the current rate so a 15%ish yield looks pretty tasty.
Thats my five minute look at their numbers — high payout ratio is common for telecoms and theirs is lower than many, low debt level is unusual, dividend is excellent. Whether they have some big skeletons in the closet that are the reason for the high dividend yield and low valuation I don’t know. They are very, very small for a landline telecom company in a big and expensive city, so it might just be that they’re a minnow and folks don’t think they can sustain the business.
