In general, it is not wise to invest in a company controlled by one person unless that person is well known and widely respected. Raj seems to fail this test. I will pass on this one.
The thing that scared me with Clublink is that given a big enough dip, it’ll be cheap enough that Sahi or his conglomerate will take the whole shebang private, and you’ll have no chance to chip away at your loss.
travis, i’v had clublink on my radar since you first mentioned it during your time at the investment congress, so i was happy to be able to read this post and learn more. so i thank you very much. i also have another company you wrote about on my list, delis(DLIA), in fact, i’ve had a limit order patiently waiting for a few weeks now. i noticed that at the end of this post you’ve mentioned a few other companies, but make no mention of dELiA*s, so now i’m wondering if i should be reconsidering my bid.
was there a reason dELiA*s failed to get any mention since you first wrote about them?
