Travis,
I’m new at this and I’m sorry to sound dense. LONR 9.00 +, LNAFF .16 ?
Thanks
LONR is in British Pence (1/100 of a Pound), LNAFF is in dollars.
Hey, Travis;
I know that this topic has been dealt with before but I can’t seem to find the info. I’ve been considering Lonrho for a while but don’t have access to trade its shares with my current provider. I know you and some of the members have mentioned a good international online broker. Could you please enlighten me. Interactive Brokers rings a bell but would appreciate your intel.
Thx, John
Hi John,
it is called Interactive Brokers at http://www.interactivebrokers.com. I opened an account there last summer in order to buy lonr in London. Since i am kind of new to this it was quite a bit time consuming to open the account and find my way through this platform, but i believe it was worth it. First of all lonr went up since i bought them 😉 and additionally I have the opportunity to buy other interesting stocks from all over the world that i can’t buy with my regulare broker. Travis had suggested to check Interactive Brokers out a while back. You can find his thoughts when you go back and read up on the few times he mentioned either lonr or other stock, like mail.ru, I believe, which does not trade on the OTC at all or so sparingly you won’t be able to get in at all.
Herbert
Thx, Herbert;
I had remembered reading about this but had forgotten where. Signs of getting older and having my fingers in too many pots.
