“The Pacific Advantage Alert”

By pat555, January 22, 2013

Hi Travis,
I just discovered StockGumshoe–awesome site & I’m learning fast! I would love your take on ”The Pacific Advantage Alert” promoted by Oxford Club. (see link) http://pro.oxfordclub.com/STUPID895OSA/WINTP108/
The newsletter promotes stocks in the Pacific Rim: Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines and Japan that are supposedly making money hand over fist. According to this letter, the Vietnamese Silicon Motion Technology, for example, jumped 364% in one year.
The newsletter is a whopping $2500 but discounted to $895 till January 21. As a novice investor the promises sure are tempting but ”if it sounds too good it probably is.”??? Many thanks for your insight & expertise!
