written by reader Anybody use VantagePoint?

By flyinkel, February 22, 2013

Cost looks high, they tout all sorts of great reviews (doesn’t every system?) They have been around a while though. Can anyone give me some firsthand experience with their system? Pluses/drawbacks. Thanks!!

Hola flyinkel,
did you ever get info on VantagePoint or have you decided to use them? I have the same questions as you so I thought I’d check and see what you discovered.
Thank you,
John

i have been a vantage point subscriber for a few years now. it is not the crystal ball its supposed to be the way it is advertised, but it helps you pick good entry en exit points for your trades and is quite good for monitoring direction of the trade and how long you should stay in or how early you should get out.

Does anyone have recent review of vantage point and successes? Compared to other programs they are in line with cost.

Yes, i got Vantage Point in May 2019 and started to use it in June 2019. Waste of money, save your money. Their proprietary “indicators” are crossover and the neural index which is totally inaccurate for swing trading. Sweet talkers with free one to one training because they do not provide a manual on setting the charts or using it…. the whole time they want you to pay for more of their “categories” since you can only scan stocks in the category you paid for, e.g. financials, tech, health…. each category is a steep price… And btw, they will also then sell you the other indicators that you have to buy which would give you a “stronger confirmation” And you have t pay for chart feed too….. WASTE OF LOTS OF TIME TOO, forget their nice ways and helpfulness, they are after your money and their system does not work, esp for swing trades.

In other words, i would describe VantagePoint as a tech age white collar scam where they have you believe the AI is able to predict fairly accurately —- you can do it yourself with learning patterns. Try Barry Burns at Top Gun, he also likes to sell, but he teaches you to read charts like a pro and often has bundle offers.

Vantage point is a never ending upsell. All the people you talk to, and that includes any technical assistance you may need, is a salesperson. The staff all have tales of super-trading clients that use just one more indicator that today and today only is 50% off! There are of course live trading sessions -upsell- which are of no use to someone who is employed. Your email will be filled with offer after offer all promising to do what you thought you were paying for at the outset. Hopefully this post can help someone if they are thinking about VP.

Nonstop upsell. Their latest scam promotes their AI Checklist. It consists of 8-10 indicators, most of which are available at additional cost, that you should review before AND after every trade. You determine whether the indicator shows as bullish, bearish, or sideways and note accordingly. This exercise will give you MORE confidence in selecting the best opportunities. Their claim is the basic software provides approximately 87% accuracy. IF….I repeat IF, their 87% claim is correct then why would anyone need to purchase additional indicators at $2,000 each to get MORE confidence. At 87% accuracy you’ll need a Brinks truck EVERY DAY. In reality, it’s because the TRUE accuracy is substantially lower. Expect to get 5-8 “special” offers each week with an average cost of $2000 each. JUNK.
