Trvis ;
I have just come upon CITRON which contains some pretty powerful [and convincing stuff ] but has not surfaced in the Gumshoe discussions. Surprising .

  1. Citron is a short-selling research group (or person, I don’t know) — they don’t market any services so they’re not “teasing” anything, but they issue very public and visceral skewerings of stocks that they think will go down, and presumably, like other short pundits (Muddy Waters, etc.) are shorting those stocks to benefit from the fall they foresee.

    I occasionally quote them or cite them when I’m thinking about a stock — for example, when they came out aggressively against 3D Systems a couple weeks ago, in my experience they often have a good underlying short argument, usually about overvaluation or management chicanery, but are obviously pushing an agenda so they argue only one side of the story.

  2. flyinkel says:

    All HAIL the Knight in Shining Armor-CITRON. They are here to PROTECT YOU!!! (not their OWN VESTED interestest in getting RICH leading you by the bull’s nose ring shorting their CHOSEN stocks). They freely admit to only presenting facts that bolster their position, AND they do NOT disclose their own position. Gee, I wonder why?! Read for entertainment, and YES, some points are valid, BUT I prefer the more all encompasing facts and more balanced reporting @
