This purchase came too late to slip it into my brief note about buying more Ligand (LGND), but I also need to notify you that I just added to my position in Xerox (XRX). This remains a small position overall, and I’m hoping that we get some more dips in the shares to build on that position over time, but the stock got a bump up from an analyst upgrade that is partially tied to Obamacare — Xerox has a substantial business in health insurance processing and other medical business processes, and the shares are still relatively inexpensive for a company that is buying back stock and increasing dividends.
