Yesterday I submitted a very long piece about this stock but for some reason it got lost up in cyberspace and never appeared so I’m posting this shortened version.
I come from a background in PV(Photovoltaics) so I am aware, on a basic level at least, of some of the panorama of energy storage. This company is very compelling to me as I see their technology as being very viable for today as it’s product is just an advanced variant of the lead acid battery that’s been around since 1859.
There’s not weird and wacky pie in the sky tech here it seems. The product may sound great and seems to have tested well for various applications but the company seems to be in lousy shape with a stock price to match. It does have a devout core following and a very dedicated author who is/was and insider, John Petersen.
I don’t normally look at this type of share listing at all as it seems to be the purview of the ”pump and dumpers” but I just happened to stumble across it a year ago while researching batteries and EV’s and have kept tabs on it ever since.
My question to those with much greater experience and nouse for these sorts of companies : can it make it? or is the story compelling enough for a high risk gamble?
Full Disclosure : I do not have a position in this company nor plan to in the near future.
