What is your deciding factors when it comes to selling?

By hgpark888, October 13, 2013

I have been fortunate to be pretty good with timing for buying stocks.
However, it’s really hard to know when to sell for me and I am curious if other fellow stock gumshoers have set of rules when it comes to selling?

Good question, John! I find it very hard myself. This year I have been selling too early on quite a few stocks and have had to watch them soar afterwards. I even made the dreaded mistake of trying to time the market and missing the boat on other ideas and ignored the advice of newsletters I was paying for and selling a few others too early! I look forward to a brighter and more experienced mind to shed some insight on this also!
