I don’t see any article here.
wheres the article…must be in SUPERNOVA,,,,,
Hmmmm, yes, but if so the header should not be visible to non-SUPERNOVA members……
This is just a discussion thread that someone posted here — we haven’t written about this pitch yet, but given their focus on wearable computing I expect INVN could well be their latest real-money add to this service.
You are right this is the stock INVN
Thanks!
I listened to a 30 minute presentation as the “Rule Breakers” offer, with chart and map and yes, it is InvenSense.
While listening to Motley’s presentation, consider the fact that INVN recently settled a patent litigation with STM (STMicroelectronics), a Swiss company, that appears much more attractive with their products. Plus, they even pay 5% dividend.
STM is a very solid, old line company in semiconductors but seems never to have gotten management under control, perhaps partly due to their unwieldy corporate structure, and it’s been remarkably unable to become consistently profitable despite their large size. They haven’t posted annual growth in revenue or earnings more than a couple times in the last decade. INVN has been choppy lately as well, to be sure, but I think it has more promise and is far more nimble. Haven’t gotten around to owning it, but I’ve written about it a few times and usually like what I see when I research the company.
Travis, do you happen to know what the Supernova stock is for 2015 that the Fools claim to be investing 100 K in and what their top ten Supernova picks for 2015 are??
Why would you invest in their 2015 stock of the year, when their 2014 Stock of the Year INVN got destroyed?
Looks like NXPI is the winner for 2015. MF publicly posts “winner” with explanation for all to see in hopes that you will join Supernova. I think they are right about this one. Their advice on DDD wasn’t the right timing in 2014, but it it looks like a long term accumulate. I also could not see how INVN was going to dominate in wearables in 2014, that one was a stretch!! I didn’t touch it! Thankfully. So yes, you have to use your own brain too. NXPI is in the right place at the right time and is making money on many different cutting edge fronts. But IOT… is going to explode (Internet of Things – it’s going to eclipse the number of devices that now exist, and many times over) and few companies are positioned to reap the rewards like NXPI.

The patten on NFC chip will create a great income for NXPI.
