written by reader Congressional action affecting investment risk

An article from an Australian publication asked if QRX might be affected by USA congressional action. I recently made the mistake of forgetting that 2014 is an election year & politicians vision will extend all the way into the future date of November 2014. Politicians seemingly must put their paddle into the pot of medical technology & give it a big stir, just to gain political points in polling. I recently made a small investment in QRX & after this latest I think it wise i close out.
I think it was Benj. Franklin who said ”no mans property or liberty is safe when congress is in session” & I might add especially in election years. It is impossibly difficult to forecast congressional actions when
rationality is not their main purpose.

Joe Schelble; I will answer you here, you are of course correct,I must have had a ‘senior’ moment, I will also correct what I posted here Not Franklin but Mark Twain framed that saying ‘borrowing’ from Judge Gideon Tucker. Franklin once quoted an English Lord saying something somewhat similar about Parliament. Sentiment may be as old as lawmakers have existed.
