I agree on Devon (DVN) and Encana (ECA) but hey, this technology has been around for years!!! At least since 2006 so It´s really nothing new… I´d rather suggest companies that are constructing and/or in the business of servicing/reconstructing rigs like Bermuda based Nabor Industries (NBR) or Patterson UTI energy (PTEN). They stand to gain from the higher dayrates being charged due to higher efficiency from the “new” rigs… Good investment in this area could be Precision Drilling (PDS) who has been spending money on updating 15 rigs and have bought 12 new ones. Look for small land drillers if you want to play for (pretty exciting?!) growth scenario.
