Anyone else tired of the teasers ranging from the low Hundreds to a couple of Thousand Dallars just to get the rest of the story. And how about the Uranium Teasers with upward values projected to be thousands of times initial investment costs (get the reports).
Looking at infomine.com, seeking alpha.com, Zacks.com, Mining.com, Uraniuminvestingnews.com, etc. noone seems to have a solid thought on the trend direction but there is a lot of hype.
I am looking for some solid thoughts on this Uranium buzz and some speculation on the stocks being teased. Uranerz[1] Energy, Macusani Yellow cake, AzinCourt Uranium, NexGen Energy LTD., Uranium Energy Corp., Cameco Corp., Etc.???
Probably missed those Companies being hyped.
Any thoughts
Thanks

  1. There’s a very compelling logic to the idea of uranium demand rising, but uranium prices seem to be telling us that this logic is too simplistic because they’ve been falling. The same logic was equally compelling last Fall, but uranium has fallen still further (the price has been generally falling since the Fukushima disaster shut down Japan’s nuclear power plants and spurred a change in nuclear sentiment in Germany and elsewhere). Long term, it would seem that we need prices to be higher to spur mine development… but that’s been true for a while.

We last chatted about uranium here: http://www.stockgumshoe.com/reviews/energy-inner-circle/the-electricity-crisis-that-dr-kent-moors-says-could-bring-100000-returns/

I have followed uranium for several years. I don’t think that there’s any doubt that the fundamentals for uranium are bullish long term. The $64,000 question is how long till the tipping point. I’m staying away from all the stocks at the moment, but I keep posted weekly on the goings on in U308. It make take a couple years, but when it happens I think all the hype will finally come to pass.

And you won’t need any high priced newsletter. Many if not most uranium stocks will benefit. And you have 2-3 years to ferret out the best candidates. Myron Martin here at Gumshoe has some good picks in the sector. And he keeps us abreast on mining news.

Not sure why everyone is interpreting the price of the U and U shares drifting further down as a proof that the Uranium bull market thesis is all hype. Dial your glance out to the five and ten year time frames and you can see that Uranium really has had almost all the gloom priced into it. This is how bear markets end. Then you look at past spikes in this tiny sector and see just how many tens of hundreds of percent upside it has. I have been averaging down for two years and don’t understand investors that can’t stand to see their investment go down or be “idled money” for two or three years. Asset classes like this need to take their time completing the bottoming process. We early adopters are actually the most conservative ones. We like to buy these assets when they are completely loathed, feared and mistrusted. Conversely we are also very early to take initial profits so our investment is the antithesis of momentum chasing. This comment will look eminently rational in 18 months but I believe most readers are extreme skeptics now. In Uranium you don’t want to buy the micro-micro-caps. You want to buy the bigger names and the small mid tiers and accumulate them very early. I see a gigantic bull run ahead for Uranium. It will be interesting to read comments here after it kicks off. Then everyone will be fretting that the big run is over after they have risen 200% – while they will in the course of 3-4 years rise thousands of percent. Wait and see. Soon enough now.

I’ve been following U for the past 2 years, I’m a value investor, thus, my initial interest sparked by the depressed U market. Since, learned a lot about it and certainly glad I took notice. The fundamentals are in place and I am patient – there is a lot of money to be made here. The only real hype I’ve seen is the annoying “pep rallies” to remind us all how important U is to the base load electricity supply… we get it, enough already.
Just sitting back, buying every dip and waiting for reality to kick in (that we need nuclear reactors for affordable electricity – period).
The in-situ producers in particular are key right now in this depressed U market. So are the explorers/miners that are sitting on insanely high-grade, shallow resources.

I have spent extensive time doing my own due diligence in the Uranium Sector!
Here are the players: CCJ (The exxon of uranium), DNN, URRE, URZ, URG, URA, and last but not least- the new kid on the block; FCUUF! It is an absolute MUST buy in the Uranium sector! When this resource sector takes off, FCUUF will sky-rocket. That is, if it is not bought out by CCJ, or RioTino, or someone else. The quality of the uranium from
the company is so pure it has to be mixed and toned down! That is pure! I have been buying shares every week for about 6 months. If I had an extra $500 or $1000 laying around today- this is where I would put it. Uranium has just about his the bottom, there is only one way up from here and that is indeed “up.” Finally, the uranium sector is one that if NOT for the faint of heart. It is a BOOM or BUST trade. This is not a get rich quick trade! These kind of opportunities may come along twice in someone’s investment life! It just so happens that the time to BUY uranium is NOW! 66 Reactors are in the process of being built worldwide (NOW). They are not all coming online at the same time. It takes 10+ years to build one! The world demand for energy is an absolute! Nuke energy is the cleanest and cheapest! It is the future. The smart investor is buying into this sector NOW
with all he/she has, and riding that elevator all the way up. There are millions of dollars to be made from buying into this sector NOW! Uranium is probably next to coal, the most hated commodity! That says BUY! Buy when the streets are red with blood and everybody else is selling.
