Gold and Silver TraderHas anyone got any information on Larry Edelson’s recently released Gold and Silver Trader, during which he had a full hour and a half Q and A and at the end of it he gave his subscribers to Gold and Silver Trader his list of his TOP 30 Miners in what he dubbed Super Miner Portfolio?

Larry likes junior gold miners ETF and silver wheaton
JNUG and NUGT were divulged in his 100 minute webinar. SLW is probably the best play on Miners, lb. for lb. if you believe Silver will outperform Gold, which they have actually entered the AU streaming bailiwick. Or, if you believe Gold and Platinum and Palladium will outperform Silver, then Franco Nevada is the right call, and they are also streaming Oil, Bottom line is that SLW and FNV have VERY bright futures and I prefer FNV because it’s priced around $50 whereas RGLD is priced around $75, their AVG cost/oz of gold is completely negligibly=e, RGLD is $75 and FNV is $76.. His tease said he released his 20 favorite Gold Miners, and I’m inclined to believe most are large cap. I’m positive he likes RGLD, FNV, AEM, GOLD, GG, NGD, AUY, and IAG and probably SBGL,PVG, EGO, DRGDF (DETOUR GOLD), ALACER GOLD (ALIAF), Premier Gold (PIRGF), B2Gold (BTG), and McEwen (MUX). I’m surprised he isn’t a fan of Endeavor (EXK), Fortuna Silver, (FSM) or especially Pan American Silver! Do you subscribe to his service Gold and Silver Trader? If so, could you provide me with any $3-$5 picks like Kinross Gold Corp (KGC) [I don’t know what’s happened to them. All I can glean is the fact that a few of their best Mines are located in Russia totaling some 40 so odd percent of their assets? But if Gold prices rise, KGC or ANV could skyrocket. I don’t think we have to worry about the resource nationalism and the swathe of lawsuits that mainly all Canadian corporations will someday have to face as the very items they mine are poised to be the marrow for the new world monetary policy for at least a couple years (I HOPE) and Allied Nevada Gold (ANV), MUX, BTG, AKG (Asanko Gold of Africa) OR Continental Gold (CGOOF) which shows big potential or (OCANF)-OceanaGold, because I see these as profitable in the future and cash flow positive on their own, which will make the likely to be bought out by Newmonts Goldcorps and Barrick Golds (ABX) and (GOLD) Randgold Resources of the future and hopefully some don’t and can turn into 4-5, even 10 baggers…. Very interested in this topic. Weiss Research is currently teasing Edelson’s “Ultimate Gold and Silver Trading Course”. It’s a series of video modules which promises to teach basics of buying / selling (owning) physical gold and silver. Edelson also promises to reveal his top 15 mining stocks. Unfortunately the course is a little too rich for my blood ($1,000). But I am 100% sure Edelson likes Goldcorp as one of his mining picks. I’m also sure he does not like Barrick Gold (the world’s largest gold producer) due to leverage concerns. The same is true of Newmont if only because they have had on and off talks with Barrick about a possible merger. If anybody could share further light on this subject it would be greatly appreciated. I am particularly interested in Edelson’s recommendations in the junior miners sector.
I found this list on another message board. I’m not sure if these are all Larry’s picks but the poster says Edelson is watching them closely as of 4/14. Based on the discussion we’re having on this board I tend to agree with some of these picks as noted below.
So here we go. A list of 10 you might want to keep handy:
1. Goldcorp Inc. (GG) – AGREE
2. Yamana Gold, Inc. (AUY) – AGREE
3. Newmont Mining Corp. (NEM) – AGREE (baring a Barrick merger)
4. Agnico Eagle Mines (AEM) – Agree
5. Freeport-McMoRan Copper & Gold Inc. (FCX) – Agree
6. Hecla Mining Co. (HL) – Don’t know
7. Eldorado Gold Corp. (EGO) – Don’t know
8. New Gold, Inc. (NGD) – Agree
9. Franco-Nevada Corp. (FNV) – Agree
10. Randgold Resources Limited (GOLD) – Agree
I would also add IamGold another (IAG) as another possible Edelson recommendation based on the discussions I’ve found elsewhere. Most of these are large mining stocks but Hecla, IamGold, and Yamana – I appear to be junior miners although I am not certain. Please do your own checking. Happy hunting…
