I am wondering about ”Stock Mister” ”OTC RockStar” and ”EPIC Stock Pics”. They send emails promoting stocks (mostly penny stocks) based on their ”research”. They indicate that they may be ”compensated” for promotion of these stocks. Often these stocks (the ones I have watched) seem to surge at the opening and then drop.
’Just wondering about this ”service”, exactly what it is and things of which I need to be aware.

First, let’s be honest. You signed up for the alerts. Now that they’re pretty much profitable, you’d like to know more about “how they do that”. Well, that is an operations question which deserves an operations answer. Meaning, they can manipulate things pretty well, though not exactly 100% due to some variables out of their control. But if you understand that the markets in which you buy these (often) penny stocks are an auction environment, then you’d understand that each share purchase sends the digital value up. The same is true when selling. They will never reveal the electronic methods used, but you get the picture. You ask “aware of” question. Sure, be aware that not every alert is an absolute winner. Though they, like you, wish it was. And so does everybody. It’s an easy way to make some quick money. Just remember 1 thing. There will never be a substitute for doing your own homework.

You need to be aware that this is a promotion paid for by “pump and dump” experts who will fleece you of as much capital as you will give them in hopes you can ride their coattails and beat them out the door.
