As a former aviator, I find Triumph a very appealing investment opportunity (and comparatively “safe” in these times of great economic and political uncertainly and international discord) . Travis, thank you for laying out the background information and investment thesis in such great detail, and for providing links to enable further due diligence.
MAUXF, do not buy it.
HLLOF, I have checked it out throughly, I do not see it has any property in London. What is the deal here, Travis?
I think Gottfried said they have a property in London — but it’s A Canadian hotel REIT, that’s London, Ontario.
Thanks for the great work, Travis. In regards to Lancashire Holdings , can you or any other member recommend an on-line broker that offers international stock trading? I have read that because of liquidity issues on the pink sheets it is better to buy foreign stocks on the exchange they trade on.
I am using Interactive Broker! It takes a bit time to get used to the platform, but the price is right and it works for me. Good luck!
I like interactive brokers, too, though most brokers can trade direct in London if you call, for a fee or, in some cases, online.
Thanks for the advice. I have an account with Scottrade and was told this was not possible. Also, I am not thinking about large positions and wanted to keep expenses at a minimum. Thanks again for both the responses.
I like this idea. I am a buyer in middle 50 :)))) Let everyone know if Roepers dump it….
It ~ around $61 today…….get ready to let the moths out of your wallet Travis
Cant see a SODA comment box, so here goes FWIW: As a UK plumber I spend a lot of time in a lot of London kitchens. I dunno about the rest of Europe, but I can tell you Ive hardly ever seen a Sodastream machine, other than on a small local hardware shops shelf gathering dust. None of the supermarket or DIY shops I visit, even sell them.
