    SDRs could be Special Drawing Rights which the IMF (which organization has a “clean balance sheet”) prints and makes available to Central Banks to “help balance” the world economy whenever the country which supplies the world’s “reserve currency” gets into trouble (vis-à-vis other major economic parties). Three “trial isuance” 1969-1972 $9.3B (due to gold runs on Fort Knox as US printed $$$ ; 1979-1981 US inflation rate at 14-plus percent; and 2009 (August & September) $182.7B.
