I have found a stock that has some of these characteristics, GW Pharma (GWPH – ADR), Interestingly the pain medications that may be referred to are cannabinoids. This looks like a super company, up > 600% with a mkt cap of $1.4 billion it cant be the stock were looking for, perhaps there is a royalty recipient for the 2 drugs (I have not tried to tie anything to end of Dec. yet.) Will post relevant links after some more checking.
On another topic does anyone know what Wyeth “safe” 16% yielder that goes ex on 12/29 is?

was the person that had the add on your Dec. 19-20 posting. He said he has not missed a prediction in many years. Is his service as good as he says?
Was that the Harry Dent one? God, no — no one is as good as they say they are, and he’s interesting but often wrong at least in the short term. I expect he’d argue that he’s right in the long term (decades), because his predictions are largely based on demographic trends, but I question how relevant that is for active individual investors. I have not ever seen his paid newsletter, that’s just my impression from occasionally reading his commentary.
