From what I know it’s just one of their “pay up front” deals — you pay a substantial up front fee that’s not refundable, then you get your pick of a certain number of their products forever without having to pay again… except for the annual maintenance fee, which I think is usually in the neighborhood of $100-200 or so. They have some bigger “alliance” deal that’s for all of their newsletters, I think, and the “flex” alliance is just smaller and cheaper.
