For gummies with strong stomach and heart and who believe in oil price recovery my suggestion to consider investment in
UWTI
It has plunged from $42 to $3 as oil price has collased from 100$ to 50 in last 8 months. Oil companies have cut down more investment to increase oil production and rig count has dropped significantly oil production will drop in next year and oil prices will jump back and so will UWTI price imo. Do your DD. This is extremely volatile – more than our biotech. I’m long UWTI .

Lulu/Terry – I see the drop (got scr$w$d as I finally pulled the trigger today and my broker screwed up and got in late so I bought at $130, and I read the report (thanks Terry) and looked for guidance on this – but as I read it this is GOOD news … so is the drop just people taking profit or am I misreading?
Allison & Lulu You have my condolence , but this looks like a sell on news event,,,,some times it is best to take profits on options before such events as options often do not have time to recover from such happenings. I do not know of your situations but if you took a long dated option you may still recover. If not that is the nature of options,,,often I will hold for just a few days if there is a quick runup to my profit expectation,,,,,,most options are settled before their settlement date. This may not make sense but the market is often irrational. frank
Hi Arch, it all happened so fast…….no condolences required. This is Bio…..TIB. If there isn’t any anticipated news or earning or else coming, I best get out as i hold a March option. Think I missed my chance today. I lost out on huge profits a long option on AGIO by selling tooooo early and didn’t want a repeat performance……past performance is never an indication of future…..TIB.
KSS: Whats the USP for FLKS that Coca Cola cant equal?
Alan: an incisive question. Answer: they haven’t said yet. Very very little is published on transient ion channels (which I admit sounds like a geeky Star Trek term). As I understand it, the founder has evidence that there are specific receptors in the mouth and esophagus that when tweaked the right way, send quelling signals into the motor fibers of the spine. And I would have to say that from what we know increasingly about the innervation of the GI tract, that does NOT sound like BS to me. I think they will keep it proprietary so that it can’t be imitated, but I think they have something real. I think they will not post clinical trials til the sports drink is to market. But the beverage definitely has more to it than certain ions. Obviously Boston Celtics are ready to get behind it, push it, use it.
It takes years and $billions to build a brand. So if Coke cant copy it, theyre a buyout target. If they can; theyre dead in the water. Binary !
Still Red Bull managed it and there are some v useful people involved. Thanks for the heads up (as always).
But, that was my point in the column. Already they are positioning themselves for a buy-out of the beverage side of the business by having a Pepsi executive run things. Red Bull only accomplished a concept, an idea…which is a drink that makes many people quite cranky and has no reason to be physiologically beneficial (it is spiked with taurine…see the column on NovaBay. Taurine!) It’s not binary. The formula is proven to work. They’re just taste testing it to get the final taste it will be marketed as having. It will hit the ground running.

J&J goes with $GERN over $MEIP due to better efficacy.
Happy to discuss, but will not do so for discussion informed by wild-eyed sordid banter from flea-bitten message boards, especially when offset and punctuated by rhotic quotations from, er, Scooby Doo. Anybody wanna buy a monkey?
I love you DOC
Sorry, I think that is old info, but just popped up in MEIP message board.
Discussion has moved to a new thread. The memo you didn’t get.
