Brian Tycangco (in ”Asian Growth Stocks[1]”) sees a tiny biotech company eliminating the need for insulin injections for diabetics. The company is also working on Parkinson’s and other ”un-touchable” diseases by developing the ability to insert foreign cells into a person’s body without an immune reaction. Is this one of those too-good-to-be-true speculations, or is it worth at least a small investment?

I was hoping someone (Dr. KSS, Stock Gumshoe, any subscriber) would tell me what company Brian Tycango was talking about as having “the biggest breakthrough since insulin.” While I have no close relatives suffering from diabetes, our family is struggling with Parkinson disease, and I would be very interested to learn about any real progress toward a cure for that stubbornly progressive illness.

Several years ago I had a subscription to Asian Growth Stocks, but I have not seen it lately. Their ad indicated that this tiny biotech company should be a very profitable investment, with patent protections, successful research results, and government approvals (outside the USA) already in hand. While concentrating on diabetes now, their scientific achievements point to great advances in a broad range of medical areas.
