I have been reading about the increase in U.S. production in spit of the fact that the number of operating wells has decreased from about 1,600 to 800. Most are now the newer high efficiency type. The Saudi’s are in a price war with the U.S. So the price of oil[1] will be cheap for a while.
Some of the increase in U.S. production efficiency is due to DOF , Digital Oil Field software. This software keeps tract of the the daily workings of an oil company. Allowing the most efficient use of men, equipment, etc. One such company is Petex, http://www.petex.com/[2] I have sent them an email Apr-3, asking if they have a way to invest. I have not received an answer yet. Nor have I been able to find a stock ticker.
If anyone knows of any other similar companies I would like to know
their ticker. Maybe some can also send Petex an email and see if you can get an answer.
