Any thoughts on Dr. Steve Sjuggerud recent alarm about the IMF adding a new reserve currency in October of this year? Pushing non us dollar based investments with 1000 percent plus gains.

I saw a video today about a deal to get Steve’s newsletter on special for $39. Is this true?
Thanks.

As the USA goes, so goes the world. Obama is trying to turn us into ancient Rome, but I don’t think that will happen. “In God we trust.” “Land of the free and home of the brave.” The barbarians will not bring down America. People worldwide will take payment in US dollars, anytime, anyplace, any way. Bet on America.

There is nothing on the IMF agenda calendar for October based on their website.
Furthermore, the IMF already had their consultation meeting with China on 08/14/15.

Dr S is often right about lots of things, and he is a really brilliant and well-educated guy, but IMHO he has had some terrific blindspots or areas of non-brilliance, often in currency-related matters. I’ve subscribed on-and-off for years, and I’m thinking back to when he was touting Icelandic bonds(which he mentioned could be conveniently acquired through his uncle or cousin, as I recall): the profits were absolutely wonderful until 2008, when krona bonds crashed, and they stank like a pile of old Icelandic scallops.
