Following is a list of GS threads with all their accompanying comments that are currently openly visible to anyone and everyone on the Internet.
    Biotech by Hendrixnuzsles
    Biotech/Medical Catalyst Calender
    Bio ETF’s
    Biotech Traders thread
Is this intentional or is this an oversight? Like(1) Reply

Psvena-Please contact me regarding your post 141. The calender is private and security access via myself is required to view. The other threads links (addresses) may be seen but require IRR membership to view. Please advise. Best2ALL!-Benjamin
Hi pockets. I contacted Travis to lock down ALL new Bio-threads after conversations whith Psvena. May you do the same? Psvena said that the calender is NOT viewable by public just the threads. I requested that Travis lock down all Bio-Threads created by HN, BH, you and myself from non-irregular access. Best2ALL!-Ben

Both URLs say I need permission.

The idea is that when a comment is made on any thread addressing a specific ticker, then that comment is simultaneously routed to a thread for that ticker? Seems like we would have quite a few threads. And if comments are being made on individual ticker threads, then when new comments come in automatically, we would have a problem with comments coming in out of context? However, if a way if found to setup a repository of organized information by ticker, then this would be invaluable. I think that it would have to be funded by those interested and (hopefully) be a profit center for the head Gummy.

Great and bold initiative HiPockets. I have a list of ~375 stocks discussed and or mentioned from the last 15 months. Most have comments from KSS, JZ stoxx, Glen and others and some do not. It is the same list that I’ve provided to start the KSS dungeon but mind you it is a very “crude” excel spreadsheet for my own personal use and not sure if this is what we are after? I’ll be more than happy to send it to you (I still have your email) for review and whether anything can be done with it?

sogiam- My understanding that the security for Google docs is based on email addresses. After setting up a document, for access to it one can choose (a) only the author can view, (b) anybody can view, (c) anyone with the link can view ,or (d) only specific people (controlled through email addresses) can view. An email address can be set up to (x) view only, (y) view and comment, or (z) view, edit or comment. Am I missing anything? Thanks.

    Hi Pockets –
I have 32 stocks recommended by Dr, KSS. I would be happy to help if I thought, and you thought, I could contribute to this project. It is a great idea, and kind of overwhelming. I get daily updates on stocks via SA, and have other sources Fierce newsletters, et al. Let me know your opinion. I am old and have a very tough skin, so don’t worry about offending me.

ALL — I’ve received several requests for access to the spreadsheets, and have followed through. For the time being, though, everyone should have access since we are just getting started and there’s not much to steal. If I’m wrong in that, please let me know.

HiP, are you referring to the KSS DA MAN – google sheets? Index, first, buy opinions etc….Last updated in March?
my email is lululemon with an e instead of an o at me dot com.
Thank you, good night all! 🙂

Sogiam – I discussed the project with DLH briefly today. We are potentially looking at monitoring 500 stocks. Restricting the number to those covered, both positively or negatively, by Dr. KSS, and to those that HN winnows, brings it down to—what — maybe 100? Not counting the new ones that our group might want to monitor.

At an average of 5 stocks per spreadsheet, we are could be looking at 20 spreadsheets and 20 spreadsheet managers. Your idea is a good one, but the logistics of doing it on a frequent basis might kill it.

There is also the problem of comments made as a reply to a comment. The “sub-comments” are not in a contiguous chronological sequence. Reading or sorting through a CSV file would be tedious.

I use the notification emails for updating my records. All of the new comments from all of the microblogs are delivered to my inbox in chronological order and can easily be sorted by microblog. I have to delete the chaff, but it’s a lot faster than trying to find new info by scrolling up and down on a monitor screen. At this point in time, I think a similar process will work best for the new spreadsheets.

I’ve emailed Lynn about it. I know her job is extremely hectic at times, so I won’t ask for anything that would make extra work for her or for Travis.

HiPockets, In addition to helping you manage access and the index, needless to say, I’d love to take ATNM. Also ARTH, BLRX, FLKS, and ZFGN. Thanks!
