MEIPHARMA MEIP LATEST NEWS sell or hold?

By marumitm, May 3, 2015

What is the latest development and recommendation on this stock? Should we hold it or sell it at a big loss? I bought 1000 shares at $6.00 after Dr. K article and before their fed trial disappointing loss and lost 3/4 of my investment. Thank you for your input.

I would like other irregulars input also. Bought a lot in the high 5’s not knowing that Dr. Kss didn’t think that initial trial would be successful. From what I have read the next one in June has a much better chance of being successful.

Don…my recollection is the same as yours, the recent test was not the main reason for being in the stock. Also I believe that Celgene also has some relationship with MEIP so
there are several qualified partners with interest in the company.

I was happy to initiate positions around $ 2 after the recent drop, so our attitudes when looking at the current price are different. My guess is that you don’t need to be in a hurry to sell at current levels, you will be able to do that for the foreseeable future.

Long MEIP

AML data (due in june) will drive this higher:
2/3 of p2 patients evaluated and results published a few weeks ago. Very positive data do far. Based on this, I’m expecting strong P2 data and plans for P3 in June
Trading at cash.
You might want to consider doubling down at these levels, but do your research.
