What’s Happening with Alnylam (ALNY)?Alnylam has been touted and teased as a ”sure thing” winner by Marc Lichtenfeld and others. It had some modest gains since I purchased shares, but has dropped precipitously over the past couple of days. I’ve searched the net for news that would cause this drop, but can’t find anything. As a relatively new investor, perhaps I’m too gullible when it comes to teaser ads! Ideas, anyone?

I bought a big chunk of ALNY based on that same claim and was also pleased at the brief jump then dismayed at the plunge. My understanding of the decline that hit it and other bio-tech/pharm stocks was that it resulted from a comment from Hillary Clinton that drug prices (and cost of procedures?) were going to be targeted in the 2016 campaign.
