NVDA will be there. Maybe they will release their neuro imprinting device this week??
I certainly hope so.

I do not think NVDA has a pain headset. They have some of the necessary patents and receive patent royalties.i

No one has a pain headset that I’m aware of. Virtual reality as a therapy should presumably use the same hardware as virtual reality as a video game or entertainment… and video games or entertainment are what will drive the VR market and the demand for advanced video processing chips, including NVIDIA’s. NVIDIA is more explicitly trying to brand itself as a VR company with their “VR Ready” marketing that seems to be inspired by the old “Intel Inside” stickers on computers, setting a benchmark for the video chips that NVIDIA thinks are needed for adequate virtual reality.

The pain relief “neuro modulation” stuff is mostly malarky to get you to subscribe to a newsletter — it may well advance and continue being tested as a therapy, particularly for folks for whom other stuff doesn’t work, but that’s not what’s ever going to drive the virtual reality market.

I do hold some NVDA LEAP call options, for what it’s worth — I don’t expect breakthroughs or fast gains, personally, but will not object if they come.
