I got to the George Leong section and left this Lombordi site. My vague memory of a story on a TimeWarner renewable energy channel is of a high tech computer company buying into a fuel cell technology and Quantum rings a bell, but its share price might not correspond to the Lombardi teaser. The storage of solar energy is a major hurdle, besides costs of solar panels. I continue to dig around….
I’m still making stabs in the dark. Quantum does not fit the profile. SUNE (Sun Edison), on the other hand, was over $30 per share, now down, under $3. Its institutional investors own more than 100% and short interest is 33%. Market Edge rates it a new buy — probably because a class action suit had a Feb 1st deadline for investors to file claims against the company. This is the kind of hype that institutions would use to be able to dump their shares, I’d guess. And I believe Warren Buffet likes to buy low. But again, I am still stabbing in the dark, so don’t quote me on any of these comments, y’all.
“This tiny $3 company is now at the center of a $5-trillion energy shift unlike anything we’ve ever seen.
“Even if it grabs a tiny percentage of this trillion-dollar market, a $100 share price is not out of the question.
“You just need to buy in now, because it won’t be trading at $3 for long—not with all of its billion-dollar deals and the fast-moving developments in solar.”
And you throw in a few specific clues from the ad:
“The Saudis are working with this company on a planned $6.4-billion solar complex.
“Another OPEC giant—Egypt—has included the company as part of a 2-GW deal.
“The OPEC member Jordan already has it developing one of the nation’s largest solar power plants.
“At a climate talk in 2015, Obama and the Indian Prime Minister met with the CEO.
“This company is now lined up at the forefront of India’s $200-billion solar gold rush…
“The Indian government just awarded a deal at auction to this company for a 500-MW solar farm… one that will deliver solar energy at the country’s cheapest price EVER.
“And India’s largest utility signed a 180-MW deal with this company.”
Then it’s just another pitch for SunEdison (SUNE). I haven’t looked at it in the last few weeks, but it is obviously decimated and in balance sheet “crisis mode” so it’s highly volatile. Last looked at it when it was pitched by Kent Moors a couple months ago here.
Just got the Lombardi e-mail promo on 4/30/16. SUNE – what a great recommendation on Feb. 3 – NOT! Now SUNEQ and at 0.24. How can they still putting this drivel out???
Haven’t seen it, if you’ve got an email to forward or a link to share please pass them along (ILoveStockSpam@gmail.com). Thanks!
Here’s a link to the presentation. I have not played it all the way through but came here first.

That one’s a pitch for Canadian Solar (CSIQ), according to the hints dropped in the ad.

I saw an ad about this here.
If this is the investment you’re talking about:

Solar is on the way !
is it profitable following George Leong with Lombardi?
