Mighty Gumshoe,
This a tease about the Omni by Virtuix (easy sleuthing on my part). The only help I’m asking for in return is how to invest in it as a private investor since I don’t know how to invest in this kind of opportunity yet. I know the JOBS act allows me to do so, but I don’t want to pay crowdability their fees to learn the ”how”.
Thank you,

The JOBS Act allows some companies to solicit investments from non-qualified investors, they don’t have to do so but it looks like this company is thinking about it, at least. They did their first fundraising through the pre-sell network Kickstarter, but they have put up this page to gauge interest in investment: https://www.seedinvest.com/virtuix/series.a
I expect the impact of the JOBS Act to be underwhelming, but it’s going to take time for the networks and procedures to develop. We’ll see. Venture capital usually means a long time commitment, a high failure rate, limited access to information, and no liquidity — that’s fine if it ends up being Facebook, not so fine if it ends up being an also-ran tech firm that couldn’t get stronger backing or an iffy real estate project. Don’t know much about this Omni thing, or the company.
