SteveFlick I’m new to investing and I’m basically following the NIC investors after subscribing. What is the best formula for learning how to do my own DD? I don’t have a lot to invest. My portfolio is only up to $200 buying anywhere from 5 to 30 shares at a time. I would like to do my DD just not real sure how. A pointed finger in the right direction to learn would be greatly appreciated.

They announced their Q2 results on the 29th of August, and the companies stock has been climbing since. The company has actually not done much PR, if you go to yahoo news, not much there. Their own website has news updates, but as for regular PR, not much. I have checked their FB, and Twitter. Seems they are more focused with sales and business then they are with PR. Their Twitter handle is all promotions of their cannabis products.
As for their social media presence, seems they are more focused with product sales than PR.

I am trying to do some DD on PLNHF, you can find their last quarter financial statement here. Please take a look and see if any numbers here jumps out to pay extra attention to. They do have a lot of cash in hand, and as of Fridays close they are trading 0.845x – 1.71x revenue future revenue (these are my own calculations which could use additional sets of eyes).

The company’s price has 2x since their quarter results on August 29th came out with “Record Revenue and Adjusted EBITDA for Q2 2018: Revenue +203% vs. Q2 2017 and +23% from Q1 2018; Adjusted EBITDA +521.3% and +81.7%.”
They are opening their (40,000 sq ft) cannabis entertainment complex superstore Nov 1st. 4 Minutes from the Vegas strip. 16,200 sq ft dispensary space. With plans to add brewery, coffee shop, food offerings and convention event space.
2nd Quarter Revenue: $4.4M
Y/Y Growth: 203%
Market Cap (9/21/2018): $120.49M
adjusted EBITDA: $0.8M
Current Dispensary average 750 customers/day, average spending of $70.
New Superstore is expected over 2000 visitors/day (conservative number per CEO interview), with similar average spending.
Valuation: My very amateurish valuation.
If current dispensaries continue its current revenue conditions: 1 year (750)(70)(365) = $19,162,500
New Superstore revenue stream: 1 year (2000)(70)(365)= $51,100,000
From todays mkt cap of $120.49M/($51,100,000 + $19,162,500) =1.71x revenue.
If we take in the current 203% yoy growth = ($51,100,000 + $19,162,500)(2.03) = $142,632,875
$120.49M/$142,632,875 = 0.845x revenue.
Whats also interesting is that they have Marc Lustig (CEO of CannaRoyalty, CNNRF), and Greg Wilson (founding director of CannaRoyalty) on their board at PLNHF. [CannaRoyalty Corp.is a private equity firm specializing in acquisitions. The firm invests in the legal cannabis sector with a focus on research and intellectual property, consumer brands, and industry infrastructure. ] I’m sure that brings a lot of value to the company, I don’t know of their business relationships enough to give feedback on this subject. Besides the two CEO’s, they also have some nice talent on their team as well, their “Director of Infused Products”, “VP of Operations”, brings some great skill sets to their company.
