I’ve been invested in pot stocks for about 4 months now looking ahead of the legalization in Canada and some of the other states here in the US. I own $TRTC $CANN $ KSHB and about 10 others in what I like to call my Gambling Account one stock $BPMX is up over 138% from when I bought it 2 months ago. If you want to see which cannabis stocks are the biggest go to The Green Market Report Index. It is a list of 30 stocks that have been selected based on market capitalization and revenue production, plus high standards of company operation. These companies must be predominantly focused on the cannabis industry and the list is reviewed on a quarterly basis.

$IVITF Another celebrity attracted to a marijuana stock in my portfolio. As CEO no less. Make that Chief EVANGELIST Officer ;>)

Vancouver, BC, March 20, 2018 –INVICTUS MD STRATEGIES CORP. (“Invictus” or the “Company”) (TSXV: GENE; OTC: IVITF; FRA: 8IS1) is pleased to announce that today, Gene Simmons, Chief Evangelist Officer for the company and its management team opened the trading day at the TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV). The appearance coincides with the company changing its share ticker from IMH to GENE.

    Pretty HIP ;>) ;>)

      Apr 7 2018, 11:47:29 pm

Invictus is in my watch list not yet in the holdings still need a little more time to pass gene is a killer marketing engineer and was a great investment for the companies stock price to see a quick spike but in my experienced cannabis follower from the first vote a decade ago I would be weary of a cannabis stock that currently isn’t sitting at less than half of its January 2017 high after the hype bump from the vote a lot of room for the stock to go down unsure of its hype growth though . Friendly advice a lot of money to be made 300 Pct should be the average of your gain otherwise your not profitable enough can’t go wrong at 1.40 the hype vote will double that briefly there are a lot better plays to make but best of luck. So far terra tech bottom showed at 2.15 let’s wait and see . For now future farm at 41 cents is the best us exposed pick to be looking at with alphria investing in them so they owe no oneand there recent buy out now is the time you should expect 1 free share for each purchased don’t miss that before you throw money at gene sims friendly advice

Certainly appreciate the friendly advice, roberthebel, at least as far as I can interpret it. Personally, I am quite happy with 200% returns, and hold enough of them that I feel I can afford the luxury of a few ‘commitment’ stocks in this space, especially with the luck of a few 1000%+ gains as well. Invictus became a commitment stock after I fell in love with the CEO and Board Chairman. Back in March it was only at 34%, and unfortunately now is in the red, tho’ rated a Strong Buy at TDW.

My Silver Seven at or above 200% as at early April included:

        ACBFF 182% (bought at 3.25)
        APH 214% (4.45)
        BLO 1009% (0.22)
        WEED 1008% (2.28)
        CRON 198% (3.98)
        LXX 1317% (0.12)
        OGI 343% (1.10)

and fingers crossed for HIKU, bought as DOJ

Coupla other unfortunate circumstances: most of my buys were in the hundreds of $ rather than thousands, and
in my dotage, my math skills are on a par with your steno skills ;>)

Have fun! Enjoy your holiday and honour your veterans.
        In highest regard to them,

$EMMBF – Havily promoted by multiple sources this weekend; Outsider >
Medical marijuana is disrupting the $635 billion pain industry.

From arthritis to inflammation, cannabis is being looked to as a new miracle cure. It’s being approved by top universities, hospitals, and doctors worldwide as a treatment for a wide variety of ailments.

It’s no secret that the painkiller industry is in a tough spot. Its products are getting people addicted and have led to a nationwide opioid epidemic.

And one medical cannabis company is changing all of that. Its CEO is the perfect one to do it, too, because he’s also the gentleman behind the launch of the highly prescribed painkiller OxyContin, which has made $38 billion in sales.

I recently went to visit the company’s medical marijuana breakthrough in its highly restricted building.

And you have to see what I saw there…

What the company is working on will upend the entire painkiller industry…

All while delivering early investors up to $45,000 for every $5,000 invested.

Hardly anyone has been allowed in…

But I’ll take you inside this operation to get you in on the what’s shaping up to be the top medical marijuana company in the world.

Just click here. To your wealth, jimmy-mengel-signature-fixed

Just from past knowledge be cautious when using the free marijuana investment sights mjbiz runs down the days and the weeks news which more times than not are being paid by the same company that they are informing you about revelant news will always include the details of the oroject from phase 1 date threw date to be completed along with what they paid or gave away to purchase.there is hours and hours of news but when it’s the type of new from a small company that received financing to purchase land or littl stuff like that with no dates when the ground is scheduled to be broken or when the first grow should be expected with approx amout of dry flower is expected it a paid advertisement which would be the same info you would receive if you signed up on there websight if you were lucky for a smaller company actually kept you informed the good companies will the companies that are the same three or 4 every week s on this sight d/m/o cannabis stock picks Lee fly to name a few are just that when they mention what a Nathan at the current price or claim it’s up 400 Pct with no date those are paid advertising and if you look around enough it will mention who the article was written by . The companies aren’t allowed to advertise in very many normal paid places which makes it heard with all the companies but when there being sent from places called cannabis picks the wording is confusing believer me if the had the really breaking new and useful advice it would always include one or more of the canopy aphria etc I strongly suggest see how how the stock went during the previous vote and you can be a better judge for yourself if your at least buying any stock at the lowside inbeteeen votes that’s alway the big difference if you make 25-100pct or 300-500 Pct
      Best of fortunes as always

They announced their Q2 results on the 29th of August, and the companies stock has been climbing since. The company has actually not done much PR, if you go to yahoo news, not much there. Their own website has news updates, but as for regular PR, not much. I have checked their FB, and Twitter. Seems they are more focused with sales and business then they are with PR. Their Twitter handle is all promotions of their cannabis products.

As for their social media presence, seems they are more focused with product sales than PR.

Check them out on Twitter and you’ll see what I mean.

    Hi fellow gumshoers,

I am trying to do some DD on PLNHF, you can find their last quarter financial statement here. Please take a look and see if any numbers here jumps out to pay extra attention to. They do have a lot of cash in hand, and as of Fridays close they are trading 0.845x – 1.71x revenue future revenue (these are my own calculations which could use additional sets of eyes).

The company’s price has 2x since their quarter results on August 29th came out with “Record Revenue and Adjusted EBITDA for Q2 2018: Revenue +203% vs. Q2 2017 and +23% from Q1 2018; Adjusted EBITDA +521.3% and +81.7%.”

They are opening their (40,000 sq ft) cannabis entertainment complex superstore Nov 1st. 4 Minutes from the Vegas strip. 16,200 sq ft dispensary space. With plans to add brewery, coffee shop, food offerings and convention event space.

    2nd Quarter Revenue: $4.4M
    Y/Y Growth: 203%
    Market Cap (9/21/2018): $120.49M
    adjusted EBITDA: $0.8M
Current Dispensary average 750 customers/day, average spending of $70.

New Superstore is expected over 2000 visitors/day (conservative number per CEO interview), with similar average spending.

    Valuation: My very amateurish valuation.
If current dispensaries continue its current revenue conditions: 1 year (750)(70)(365) = $19,162,500
New Superstore revenue stream: 1 year (2000)(70)(365)= $51,100,000
From todays mkt cap of $120.49M/($51,100,000 + $19,162,500) =1.71x revenue.
    If we take in the current 203% yoy growth = ($51,100,000 + $19,162,500)(2.03) = $142,632,875
    $120.49M/$142,632,875 = 0.845x revenue.

Whats also interesting is that they have Marc Lustig (CEO of CannaRoyalty, CNNRF), and Greg Wilson (founding director of CannaRoyalty) on their board at PLNHF. [CannaRoyalty Corp.is a private equity firm specializing in acquisitions. The firm invests in the legal cannabis sector with a focus on research and intellectual property, consumer brands, and industry infrastructure. ] I’m sure that brings a lot of value to the company, I don’t know of their business relationships enough to give feedback on this subject. Besides the two CEO’s, they also have some nice talent on their team as well, their “Director of Infused Products”, “VP of Operations”, brings some great skill sets to their company.

An excellent DD on #Planet13 #PLNHF, Source is from Reddit.

There are some comments from visitors and residents of Las Vegas that offers a good insight of the local cannabis market as well as the area of the new complex.

    Quick summary:

Marijuana dispensary business based in Las Vegas, Nevada

Currently selling ~US$4.0 M/quarter from one small dispensary far away from the strip, ranking Planet 13 as the tenth highest by revenue of all publicly traded weed stocks

Opening a 16,000 sqft cannabis Superstore on November 1, 2018, a 5 min drive or 15-20 min walk from the Wynn Hotel and right beside the Fashion Show Mall.

The stock is very undervalued relative to peers even with the sales of the existing dispensary alone; the Superstore is just massive upside.

// I did not copy over the urls.
    Some background reading:

Beacon Securities initiating report (PDF, Imgur); this is the most important read

    Most recent earnings release

    Most recent financials (statements, MD&A)

Vice News article about the company

Recent interview with one of the founders (really interesting read)

My take: the stock has run up a ton over the past month but it’s still massively undervalued relative to peers with a market cap of US$200 M. Below is a summary analysis, most of which comes from the Beacon report but I changed some assumptions a bit.

Nevada reported a few weeks ago that sales of recreational cannabis in its first year (July 1, 2017 – June 30, 2018) exceeded state expectations by 60%. Total sales, including medical and ancillaries, totaled US$530 M with recreational cannabis alone at US$425 M. Tax revenue from cannabis was $70 M. Interestingly, Nevada’s levy on alcohol generated $49 M last year, meaning that in Year 1, cannabis is already a larger contributor to the state’s revenue than alcohol.

These numbers are incredibly strong for Year 1 of legal recreational sales. To put them in perspective, in their respective first year of legal adult use sales: Colorado – $303 M or $54 per capita; Washington – $259 M or $37 per capita; Oregon – $241 M or $59 per capita; California – $1.25 billion (Q2 annualized as its first year is 2018) or $30 per capita. Nevada at $530 M and with a population of 3.0 M equates to $177 per capita or over 3.0x that of Colorado, obviously because of the massive amount of tourist traffic in the state. There are currently many restrictions on where one can consume cannabis in Las Vegas. This may change this November with passage of a law that could allow for on-site consumption that will likely be sponsored by incoming county commissioner Tick Segerblom. Planet 13 is ready for this as well and has plenty or space in its 112,000 SF facility to house a consumption lounge.

Planet 13’s existing dispensary, Medizin, has a ~$20 M run rate, 20% EBITDA margin, $70 current basket size (ie. costs per customer of $55 with EBITDA per customer of $15). While its sales license will be transferred to the superstore for Nov 1, Planet 13 has applied for a new one this week and will likely hear back in November. If successful, assume Medizin contributes $4-$5 M/year of EBITDA in 2019 from the local market seven miles from the Strip.

Planet 13’s Superstore opens on November 1 and caters to tourists, being 5,000 feet from the Wynn and the closest cannabis store to the Strip. Assume 20% of Las Vegas’ incoming 55 M/year of tourists would consume cannabis (lower than national average and likely very conservative given why tourists go to the city in the first place) would imply 11 M/year customers. Assume the superstore obtains 10% market share (again likely conservative, given location) that would be 1.1 M/year of customers or 3,000/day. Assume a 40% increase in avg basket size to Medizin (customers are now mostly tourists on the Strip) implies a basket of $100. Assume similar costs to Medizin, but also increased overhead ($55 + $10 = $65) would leave EBITDA of $35 per customer or 35%. Given revenue of $110 M/year (3,000 customers per day @ $100/customer), 35% margin gives you EBITDA of $38 M/year for the Superstore.

If public consumption is legalized as expected, assume Planet gets a license for a consumption lounge and it takes 6 months to construct, becoming operational in Q4 2019. They would likely charge a cover charge, as is standard in Las Vegas, in addition to selling cannabis on site, so let’s put a placeholder of $7 M/year of EBITDA for a potential consumption lounge.

To sum up, all the above gets you to 2019 EBITDA of US$50 M/year. Given the attractiveness of Nevada as a market, Planet 13’s position therein, and the revenue/EBITDA numbers the company should start to produce, let’s assume it trades at 20x EBITDA (still a massive discount to all of the Canadian operators). That implies a valuation of US$1.0 billion; with 117 M shares outstanding, that’s US$8.50 per share (4.25x current share price of US$2.00).

    Any thoughts?
