for lack of a better word Guaranteed Income Certificates? Could the big secret be Warrants? According to the story Warren Buffett has made some handsome profits utilizing these when he buys large blocks of shares in a company. These are certificates that allow the holder to purchase shares in a company at a set price before an expiration date. Is there anywhere to get the names of these warrants and their expiration dates? There is not any one place to look for warrants — the canadian ones are pretty well covered by canadianwarrants.com and by listings at the Financial Post (http://www.financialpost.com/markets/data/group-warrants.html), but US warrants are not separately available in an easy list from the major press sources or from the exchanges as far as I can tell.
