Travis, your thoughts on Transenterix. Is the company finished? Is there any hope of share recovery after May 10?

Did Travis ever respond to the about Transenterix?? If so … can’t find.
My only note on Transenterix recently is here: http://www.stockgumshoe.com/2016/04/friday-file-sandstorm-fosun-iconix-and-transenterix/#comment-4769592
Dr. KSS has written quite a bit about the stock, as have many other commenters who are more tied in with biotech. I have no idea how it will go when they report on their new strategy in a couple weeks, but I was speculating (unsuccessfully, it turns out) just on the volatility of the stock around this expected announcement — I had no intention of being a long-term shareholder when I made my speculation, and have no interest in being a long-term shareholder right now.
Investing in Transenterix now, I think, would have to be based on assessing the FDA prospects, the potential of their “plan B” (either resubmission, which seems likely at some point, or focusing on their larger Da Vinci competitor in Europe, which strikes me as high-risk given the entrenched competition), and guessing at what the finances will be like after they raise money to implement whatever Plan B they choose. That’s not to say I think investors in TRXC are wrong, just that it’s not the kind of stock I want to speculate on personally now — I’ll leave that to the members of the biotech gang who love to dissect these stocks in Dr. KSS’s discussion threads. Maybe my mind will change when the company makes more clear what their plan is, particularly if the stock gets driven down further, but right now I’m content to just watch.
As always, you’re right Travis , why comment when there’s no info out there. Believe me I own an not happy. So I just deal with it !
