Note; I haven’t throughly read this but a quick read there is a discrepancy in battery recycling between the author and Morgan Stanley. The author says battery recycling doesn’t exist, Morgan Stanley, and American Manganese $AMYRF say it does. The author may be correct in that it will take sometime for recycling to ramp up and impact the battery market.

$FYI – PNNL helps lead grid modernization with new DOE projects

Note; IMO this is much needed, and way pass due, with reports of possible hacking and EMF attacks by high altitude nuclear weapons. That said I would think that the use of more storage batteries might be recommended even subsidized to promote proliferation.
