Of course! Of course their would be barrier set up for batteries! Whoda think it?
I never knew or heard of such a thing, but it doesn’t surprise me at all.

In government parlance, this means that it has been decided who will be successful in their endeavors to store power. We need to watch more closely at those companies now.

This answer why I haven’t seen much about electrical storage. The regulation were probably written in the day of Edison to protect all the fledgling power companies. Now I’ve got a dream. I want to cover all the sunny USA (make that western hemisphere super market shopping mall parking lots with solar cells and VRBs. All I have to do is one, and then all the competition will have to have, so their customers will have cool cars and be out of the rain. ;-]

Cow3boy you are on a run with all this info. Is the insurance going to pay for rehab.

They will pay for 12 visits I believe Griffin. I do have supplemental accident insurance that will cover the rest, for the most part, thank goodness. Because of my work trade, this field interests me a lot. I learn something everyday about whats coming to my field of work very soon ! I hope we all can profit from it. I’m just glad I can contribute what I can for all of us here. It’s the best website I have ever run across….Cowboy

I signed up for cardio rehab with out thinking about payment, I was more interested in what condition my couch potato body was in. I don’t have supplemental insurance and Medicare doesn’t cover. I was able to determine that I wasn’t in as bad of shape as I thought.

Well there you go! Kinda like Co-Oping their need to secure Cobalt. Another twist and just more for HN to consider, as his mind starts to smoke from thinking of the possibilities.

But at least, there is no sense tracking or buying BMX now, since it doesn’t matter what they do….cause it’s going to “die 3 amigo’s”. That’s how I see it, anyway.

South Korea’s SK Innovation Battery Division supplies lithium-ion batteries to Hyundai, BAIC Group of China, and Daimler AG.

Today, it became known that SK will be an offtake and funding partner for Australian Mines’ (AUZ.ASX) Sconi ( Cobalt, Nickel and Scandium ) Project in Queensland, as reported by Stuart McKinnon in The West Australian.

New breakthrough in design may make grid sized batteries more practical through low cost materials.

https://news.mit.edu/2018/metal-mesh-membrane-rechargeable-batteries-renewable-energy-0122?utm_source&utm_medium&utm_campaign

There will be more improvements in batteries, in cost, safety and energy density as well as less energy loss. Perhaps old ideas will work with new technology that did not succeed before.

Cowboy Thank you. I just think caution is needed. At present Vanadium flow batteries have sales and first to the feed trough often gets fat. Best not to bet the farm on that quite yet. Good to always watch competition.

Jumped into the vanadium space, call me crazy spec gambler, maybe? Do do DD but limited in regards to most here, gut instinct yes but no simply pick out of a hat.

Recent V plays as follows:
AEE.
KRC.
SRI.

Downside, could go to zero, up side, 5, 10, 20 bagger, like the big potential odds….

SS,
I have learned and earned from your excellent information. Are $AEE, $KRC & $SRI Canadian stocks? $AEE = Ameren, $KRC =Kilroy Real Estate?
Wife born in and Canadian citizen, but I am a novice on Canadian stocks. Thanks for your help & contributions.

$V RB – Redox Flow Batteries Workshop

While looking for the link on the VRB web site, which has loads of info, I found an acknowledgement that the problem with VRB s’ is the cost of electrolyte. The keynote speaker is Dr. Vincent L Sprenkle, Chief Engineer – Electrochemical Energy Storage and Conversion – Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL). PNNL has developed an electrolyte with 70% more capacity. I couldn’t find reference to VRBs’ electrolyte capacity.

I believe that it is VRB that also RENTS the electrolyte used in it’s batteries.
