I am an ”earnest beginner” type investor that asks very low level
questions. You mentioned warrants a few times and so I looked all over
my Fidelity site and failed to find the ”getting place”. I even
called and spoke with one of their ”trading wizzards” that does
trading for a living and he could not find them either.
Is that recent Money Map gold tease with First Mining Finance the only
place such things are offered? I also found another subscription
membership but it was only a tracking database and not a place to
actually buy warrants. How can I shop for and purchase
warrants?

You can only buy them in the market it they are traded. The warrants you speak of are attached to a private placement and not traded yet.
Lots of warrants aren’t ever publicly traded, but there are usually at least hundreds that are listed and traded, mostly in Canada. First Mining doesn’t have any listed warrants, though they are apparently including warrants in the private placement they’re offering through Money Map. If warrants are listed, they will have tickers just like stocks do — in Canada the ticker is typically just the regular ticker with “.wt” appended, so if First Mining does ever list its warrants the most likely ticker would be “FF.WT” (and these are often traded OTC in the US as well, though the OTC tickers can be a little trickier to find).
There are several listings of warrants out there, both free and subscription-based — the best free listing I’ve seen is at canadianwarrants.com.
Warrants are issued in public offerings that allow the buyer to purchase additional shares at a set price by a specified expiration date. There is no specific listing that I know of but maybe someone else knows
