Regarding Doug Casey’s recent pitch to join his Crisis Investing subscription for $1999, found at caseyresearch.com/america-ground-zero/bold-investing-approach. (You can start his AMERICA: GROUND ZERO video, move your cursor to the top, and then read the transcript instead.) More than 1/2 way down are two ”Crisis Moves” he recommends. Crisis Move #1 is fairly easy to figure out with a bit of google searching: it’s Gold Fields GFI. Crisis Move #2 I can’t deduce, an oil company ”thriving” in the oil crisis. Stock way down from July 2014 thru Dec 2015, but up this year 25% mid Jan thru May 11. Can anyone shed light on this oil company. But there’s still the question whether it’s wise to invest in any oil co. at these oil prices, which may be going lower. Regarding GFI, it’s stock has already more than doubled this year, I’m not sure it has a likelihood of rising much beyond that. Appreciate any response.
