What did these guys say about gold/silver and these stocks?
Geez, I wouldn’t touch the stock – I have an aversion to investing in food stocks in general – & I agree that Shake Shack is over valued & in a highly competitive business, but we here at the homestead have a deep & abiding fondness for ShackBurgers. Not the greatest, but a cut above the other chains IMHO.Ask for the pickles & onions! 🙂
Thanks so much for sharing this info as well as all the usual scoops on ad poop–you are my most informative newsletter by far. I’m grateful that you can bring back from such events so much more than I could! I’d also love any perspective on precious metals’ latest gyrations, as I watch my skyrocketed miner stocks crash back underground from whence they came. I assume today’s talk of a December rate hike will be no more meaningful than all the other such talk has been till now, but it sure moves markets. If I were really smart I’d stop paying so much attention . . .

Thanks for the insightful views and comments Travis. Looking forward to more info from Grant’s Conference.
Thanks for the insights, esp about the hidden dangers of ETFs. Are mutual fund prices always close to NAF? ETFs and CEFs can be totally out of whack, I suppose: the premium on PGP is 76 %, after a fall of 15 %.
Regular open-end mutual funds always buy and sell right at NAV.
Thanks for sharing this. I look forward to hearing more, particularly regarding the etf bubble as this has recently been something I have been wondering about.
Thanks Travis for this report. I too am interested in the ETF’s ‘bubble” discussion .
Travis: I truly dont know how you manage to laser focus on the lecture and take quote notes too. Youre some class act and this is without doubt the best $49pa value Ive ever had.
