I’m really surprised no one commented on your question thus far. I just joined Gumshoe, and have been very interested in “The Big Trade,” so I searched Gumshoe for any articles. The $5K subscription must be full, because many of the video promo links I had saved don’t work any longer. Maybe they cancelled the service; I don’t know. Their list of the “Dirty 30” was accidentally leaked; I have a copy! The idea was to buy puts on the most indebted companies out there. Hey, the country is in debt, individuals are in debt, and so are many corporations. The idea sounds really reasonable to me, but timing is crucial with options, and I don’t know how to do that effectively. Ford (F) is their prime example, and when I looks at the chains all the way out to 2019, there are just as many Open Interest contracts on the call side – go figure.
