You should pay for it. It costs money to make money. Work harder

I shouldn’t have said I can’t drop that kind of money, I should have said I don’t want to drop that kind of money on just average research. BTW, I worked for 32 years on Wall Street, so I know what it takes to work hard and make money. A typical day was 15-16 hours with commute. I retired at the age of 55, how about you big shot? I subscribe to some other Stansberry publications and can’t say they’re all that great. Once in a while I get an idea but mostly I generate my own research which I’ll be doing to figure out something similar ti the Dirty Thirty.

“I worked for 32 years on Wall Street”
and after those 32 years do you need advice from anybody?

There are always new questions and new things to learn regardless of ones years of experience

You’re absolutely right, i worked on Wall Street for a number of years and more than half of these publications are BS plain and simple. If you plan on becoming rich from them guess again.

Big Trade’s partial list:
This is what I gleaned without forking any money over:

DDR
GGP
JCP
TCO
VNO
WPG
GM
F

I certainly saw high volume today in Far Out of The Money Options in all of these on Nov. 17th. (The first trading day after the Official publication launch for non-beta subscribers)

If you subscribed, I’d love to see the full (or even partial list in this thread.)

Here is why it will be beneficial for you to post the list: Market makers hedge the opposite side of your trade by becoming “Delta-Neutral” In the case of selling puts to you (and other retail traders), they will short the stock in order to offset the risk of a decline in the stock prices. The more they short-sell the stock, the faster the price drops and the quicker your lottery-like puts (with Delta between -0.1 and 0.) will appreciate in price.

But if nothing happens to price, tick-tock — Theta will erode the time value component of your option (which is the entire value of your option for all Out Of The Money Options.) Remember, most platforms will show you Theta… and as an owner of an option, those few dollars per contract per day works against you.

It is like a money outflow:
Drip.
Drip.
Drip.

The list please 🙂

I am fairly certain Avis (CAR) and Canadian Natural Resources (CNQ) are on the list.

add DVN & LNG. Wouldn’t be surprised if TSLA is on there as well seeing some nibbles on the lower 1/18 strikes. Also, seeing buying in ALLY puts, used to be GMAC. PS loves to recycle research papers and presentations more than I did in college.

ALLY, TSLA yes
COF, DVN, LNG no (but Dirty Thirty-three wouldn’t have had the right ring to it)
Add:
NAVI, SC,
HTZ, AKS, AVP, S, VIAB = 30

As someone who has the full list, I can tell you for certain that 5 of the symbols so far discussed above are NOT on the list…

Here are the 30: DDR,GGP,JCP,TCO,VNO,WPG,CNQ,DNR,NBR,NBL,SU,WFT,ENB,ETP,HCP,CLI,PAA,WMB,ALLY,GM,NAVI,SC,CAR,F,HTZ,TSLA,AKS,AVP,S,VIAB. Plus, I’ve seen LNG (Cheniere) mentioned as a Dirty Thirty but not on the original list of 30. Def put on your radar as they have $20b in debt and low revenue.

I must have subscribed to a different service because my Dirty 30 list is different! Are you a decoy posting symbols to take heat off the real list of 30?

Peter, I have the exact list as Andrew. It would be interesting to see the 5 you have that are not on our lists.

Won’t general publication of the list benefit the Stans subscribers who got in first? what am I missing?

Caution! These 30 outperformed the mkt YTD so you’re fighting their momentum. (26% vs 8% for SP5000. Choose carefully…

True! I’ve bought about 8 or 9 of the positions we’ve guess on and they’re underwater at the moment. Be patient, people. The Trump rally may cause them to raise the recommended strike prices for these turkeys.

To sum it up you’re buying put-options on these companies, but what’s the time-frame suggested? 1 year from now?

What you’re essentially paying for is their research to know exactly WHEN the debts on these companies become due. It certainly isn’t about buying puts on every one. Each month they release info on exactly which puts/strike/expiry etc to purchase, based on when the debts are due to go bad… some are long dated, others short dated. If you get that bit wrong you’ll probably lose all your money.

I agree completely. I too am finding it difficult to figure out when each company has its debts due. Any Venmo or bitcoin users interested in coordinating a shared account?

I am having trouble accessing this group. Do you have it set to private? Thanks in advance, and also FYI Porter is closing the Big Trade tonight.

That is the only information to be interested in, John: when the debts are due for these overleveraged dirty thirty. Otherwise, as Peter mentioned above, the chance of losing money is very high.

I have requested to join the google group. It won’t let us post in the group until we join. Seems we have enough interest to legitimately share an account.
